Supporting Nanotechnology which is Safe, INnovative and Green for Singapore through research and application of proportionate multidisciplinary risk science

IOM coordinates nanOsing which is a multidisciplinary collaboration of prominent leading research and consultancy groups in Singapore who are dedicated to developing and applying world class multidisciplinary science for the assessment of health and environmental risks of nanotechnology in Singapore.  By integrating such knowledge with the innovation chain nanOsing supports the development of nanotechnology based processes, materials and products.

Founding members of nanOsing include Rob Aitken and Michael Riediker (IOM Singapore), Joachim Loo and Ng Kee Woei (Nanyang Technological University), Navin Kumar Verma (Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, NTU) Ong Choon Nam, Ong Wei Yi, Seeram Ramakrishna, David Tai Leong (NUS), Saji George (Nanyang Polytechnic), Kavitha Palaniappan (UON Australia) and Daniele Zink, Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology

nanOsing also aims to support knowledge and capability building on nanomaterial risk issues in Singapore which will complement Singapore’s expertise in nanotechnology innovation.
