The 11th International Particle Toxicology Conference

Date: 26 September 2016 – 30 September 2016
Time: 08:30

The 11th International Particle Toxicology Conference, organised by IOM together with NTU and A*STAR, will be held in Singapore from 26 to 30 September 2016

The International Particle Toxicology Conference is one of the longest standing scientific meeting series in its field. It started with a first conference in the UK in 1979 and has since been held 10 times. The 2016 conference in Singapore will be the first IPTC in Asia. The conference is an intimate meeting of thought leaders and the best researchers in their respective field. The meetings are a place where new ideas are discussed and cultured, and where new initiatives are prepared and launched.

The central theme of the conference will be on particle and fibre toxicology, with special focus on:

  • Forest fire particles
  • Engineered nanoparticles
  • Combustion engine particles
  • Non-combustion traffic particles
  • Natural and artificial fibres
  • Particles for diagnosis, treatment and therapy of diseases

While particle and fibre toxicology will be the main focus for IPTC 2016, we also aim at exchanges with the bio-medical community, invite contributions on health-beneficial particle-bio interactions, and welcome all types of original particle research.
